Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Superlite website, desktop application, and web remote, and native mobile companion (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these terms.
1. The Service
Superlite provides a native desktop application for running AI agent sessions, along with an optional remote-access subscription ("Superlite Pro") that allows you to access your desktop app from the web remote and, when available, the native mobile companion.
The core desktop application is open-source software licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL). Your rights to that software are governed by the GPL, not these Terms. These Terms apply to your use of the cloud services and web remote.
2. Accounts
To use the web remote or mobile companion you must sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By creating an account you represent that you meet this requirement.
3. Superlite Pro subscription
Superlite Pro is a paid subscription that unlocks the web remote, mobile companion, and related cloud features. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout.
- Trial. Eligible new customers receive a 14-day trial. A payment method is required. Unless canceled before the trial ends, the selected subscription begins and the payment method is charged automatically.
- Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access to Pro features continues until the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds. We offer a 7-day refund on new subscriptions. Contact [email protected] within 7 days of your first charge to request a refund. Renewals are non-refundable.
- Price changes. We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Infringe the intellectual property rights of others
- Transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Resell or sublicense access to the cloud services without our written permission
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. Intellectual property
The Superlite name, logo, and website design are our property. The desktop application source code is licensed under the GPL — see the GitLab repository for the full license text.
You retain all rights to the content you create using the Service. We do not claim any ownership over your prompts, agent outputs, or other session content.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Superlite and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $10, whichever is greater.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service, with reasonable notice where practicable.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
